Waitrose helps Brits save up to 50% on products with January savings event

Waitrose has launched a “Great Saving Event” to offer savings across thousands of products throughout January.

The grocer said customers can save up to 50% on cupboard staples, the Essential Waitrose range, myWaitrose offers and new meal deals.

The savings event comes as customers tackle the cost-of-living crisis.

The January offers run until 24 January and include the following discounts:
• Save 50% on household staples, including: Oral-B Gum & Enamel Whitening Toothpaste, Cirio Polpa Fine Finely Chopped Tomatoes and Twinings English Breakfast 100 Tea Bags
• Save a third on higher-welfare Essential 2 Garlic And Herb Chicken Kievs, Waitrose 4 British Pork Loin Steaks and Heinz Baked Beans 3 Pack
• Save up to 25% on branded favourites, including: Hellmann’s Squeezy Real Mayonnaise, PG Tips Original 240 Pyramid Bags and Finish Quantum Ultimate Dishwasher Tablets Lemon x50.

Waitrose commercial planner, Leyla Page said: “We’re helping customers tick off their shopping list for less this January with some great offers across a whole range of products, from chicken and mince to canned tomatoes, laundry detergent, tea and toothpaste.

“With the cost of living crisis, we know customers are keener than ever to find a good deal. That’s why we introduced ‘Waitrose Ways to Spend Less’, highlighting value-for-money deals that customers can take advantage of all year round.”

  1. The items listed here in Waitrose as being staples with 50% savings are neither savings not staples. How on earth can items such as teeth whitening and gum or HEINZ beans be called staples? Heinz beans are MUCH more expensive than their essential range and none of the items mentioned are staples.
